1. Structural differences


Two-way hard seal butterfly valves usually adopt a symmetrical design concept, and their internal structure contains the same sealing structure and guide mechanism. This carefully designed symmetrical layout allows the valve to achieve an effective sealing effect in the face of both forward and reverse fluids. From the sealing principle, the sealing pair of the two-way hard seal butterfly valve can be tightly fitted in both directions to prevent the leakage of fluid. 2. Functional differences


Two-way hard seal butterfly valve has excellent two-way control capability, it can not only accurately control and adjust the forward fluid, but also achieve the same efficient control operation when the reverse fluid flow. This makes it highly desirable in industrial applications where the direction of fluid flow needs to be changed frequently, such as complex chemical processes, or circulatory systems that have special requirements for fluid flow.


In contrast, the function of the one-way hard seal butterfly valve is mainly focused on the control of one-way fluid. It is suitable for those occasions where the direction of fluid flow is relatively fixed, such as the general water supply pipeline system, simple drainage lines, etc. In these scenarios, the one-way hard-sealed butterfly valve can stably control the one-way flow of fluid to ensure the normal operation of the system.


3, sealing performance difference


In terms of sealing performance, two-way hard seal butterfly valves are usually better than one-way hard seal butterfly valves. With its bidirectional sealing structure, the butterfly valve can maintain a good sealing state under its sealing mechanism, whether it is a forward or reverse flow of fluid, greatly reducing the possibility of leakage. This advantage is particularly important in industries with high sealing requirements, such as petrochemical, food and pharmaceutical fields.


Although the one-way hard seal butterfly valve can provide a reliable sealing effect in the forward flow direction of its design, it may leak in the face of reverse flow due to structural limitations.
