Butterfly valves are not perfect, there are certain limitations. First, the sealing performance of the butterfly valve is relatively poor, which makes it difficult to perform in some occasions with high sealing requirements, especially not suitable for high temperature and high pressure application environments; Second, due to the rotating motion characteristics of the valve disc between the fully open and fully closed positions, the flow adjustment accuracy of the butterfly valve in the partially open state is low, and it is difficult to meet the stringent requirements for flow control accuracy.
